Individual physiotherapy with modern treatment techniques
Duration
30 to 60 minutes per session
Course of treatment
6 to 18 sessions, depending on the condition

Physiotherapy is a well-established form of treatment that improves the movement, strength and function of your musculoskeletal system through targeted exercise, manual techniques and modern equipment. In our clinic we advise you on physiotherapy treatment.

How does physiotherapy work?

Physiotherapy rests on an approach that considers both the symptoms and the causes of your complaints. Through a thorough assessment we develop an individual treatment plan tailored to your particular needs.

Modern physiotherapy techniques comprise manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrical treatment and heat treatment. These methods are used specifically to relieve pain, improve movement and strengthen the muscles.

During the treatment you learn specific exercises that you can also do at home. These exercises are an important part of the therapy and support the long-term success of the treatment.

The number of treatments depends on your individual symptoms and on the severity of the condition. Typically 6 to 18 sessions at intervals of 1 to 3 days are recommended. Acute symptoms can improve markedly after just a few sessions.

What we treat

Physiotherapy can be used successfully for a range of orthopaedic complaints.

Manual therapy

Precise hands-on techniques mobilise joints, stretch muscles and release blockages. This treatment is particularly effective with restricted movement and pain.

Exercise therapy

Individually adapted exercises to strengthen the muscles, improve movement and stabilise the joints. These exercises can also be done at home.

Electrical treatment

Electrical stimulation relieves pain, improves the blood supply and stimulates the muscles. This treatment supports healing and regeneration.

Rehabilitation

After operations or injuries, physiotherapy supports healing and helps to restore full function.
