Braces and orthopaedic insoles are important aids that support and stabilise the musculoskeletal system. They are fitted individually and can be used for a range of orthopaedic complaints in order to relieve pain and improve function.

How do braces and insoles work?

Braces are orthoses that stabilise, unload and protect joints. They are made from modern, breathable materials and fitted individually to the patient's anatomy. Braces can be used after injuries, after operations or with chronic complaints.

Orthopaedic insoles are made individually after a thorough analysis of the foot. They correct deformities, distribute pressure evenly and take load off painful areas. Modern insoles are thin and light and fit into ordinary shoes.

The fitting is carried out by experienced orthotists under medical guidance, using modern measurement methods and 3D scanning to ensure the best possible fit. The aids are checked regularly and adjusted where needed.

How long they are worn depends on the condition. Braces are often worn only temporarily, while insoles are usually used long term. The effect is immediate and can improve quality of life considerably.
