Prof Dr Feucht becomes a partner at Sportklinik Freiburg

In the course of a wide-ranging change of generation, Sportklinik Freiburg was able to bring the renowned knee specialist Prof Dr Matthias Feucht into its medical team at the beginning of 2025. Since last January he has joined Dr Gerrit Bode, Dr Ralph Mayer and Dr Friedrich Quarck as a partner in the practice.

Proven expertise in knee surgery and sports orthopaedics

Prof Dr Feucht is a consultant in orthopaedics and trauma surgery specialising in reconstructive and joint-preserving knee surgery. Before joining Sportklinik Freiburg he was head of reconstructive knee surgery at the Orthopädische Klinik Paulinenhilfe of the Diakonie-Klinikum in Stuttgart.

As an official knee surgeon of the Deutsche Kniegesellschaft (German Knee Society, DKG) and as a certified arthroscopic surgeon and instructor of the German-language society for arthroscopy and joint surgery (AGA), Prof Dr Feucht is regarded as a leading expert in knee surgery and sports orthopaedics; the FOCUS list names him an “outstanding physician in knee surgery and sports orthopaedics”.
